A Recent Viral Photo Revealing Nutella’s Main Ingredients Has The Company Furious !!

Nutella, the popular sweet spread, has come under fire a lot recently. Not only do health experts around the world indicate that one of the spreads most vital ingredients could lead to cancer, but a viral image shows the true contents of the hazelnut spread.

You’re going to be shocked when you see what the manufacturers are feeding you and your family.

While you probably think that this hazelnut spread consists mostly of that infamous nut, you’ll see the truth behind the Nutella’s five main ingredients.

The makers of the photo took an empty jar and filled it with the amount of these ingredients in raw form: palm oil, skim milk powder, cocoa, hazelnuts, sugar.

Check out the image. If you’re eating this spread, you’re putting that into your body every time! The truth can be disturbing. Over the last week, the photo has gone viral on social media. It started circulating on Reddit and got about 30,000 upvotes.

Because this expose follows the Nutella cancer scare, the brand is not doing well right now. If you don’t know about that, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) declared that palm oil is the most carcinogenic oil used for human consumption.

But Nutella’s parent company flat-out denied that their product increases people’s cancer risk. They claim their palm oil is not carcinogenic and is safe – but the EFSA begs to differ.

If you didn’t know, Nutella is manufactured by Ferrero. They have failed to confirm or deny the authenticity of the viral photo sweeping across the internet. Perhaps because an admission of the truth could lose another wave of customers following the revelation that their signature product might be causing death.

Nutella’s recipe has been a closely guarded secret since its creation. But if you look at the product’s nutritional value, each 15g tablespoon of the spread contains

8.5g of sugar – which means that each 400g jar contains a whopping 227.2g.

If you don’t know what that means, each sugar cube is about 3g. That means each jar of Nutella has about 75 sugar cubes in it. That accounts for more than half of the jar’s weight. If you like Nutella, know that you’re basically spreading sugar.

Although the company didn’t confirm or deny this viral picture, Nutella stated: “We don’t disclose the full proportions of the ingredients in Nutella as our recipe is unique and we wish to safeguard this. The product’s label provides simple and clear nutritional information per 15g portion, or two heaped teaspoons, as well as per 100g. The ingredients are also listed on the Nutella website.”

Although Ferrero won’t come out and say their signature product is dangerous, they stated that: “One of Ferrero’s core nutritional beliefs is that small portion sizes help people to enjoy their favorite foods in moderation.”

In other words, eating too much Nutella is bad for you!
