Daytona Beach is known for lots of positive things. Great beaches, warm weather, a popular bikers community. But now thanks to one teenager, a child molestation crime has stained the community’s image.
When one father came home to check on his 11-year-old son, he discovered a sickening and maddening truth. The male babysitter he hired, a Daytona Beach teenager, to look after his little boy was sexually assaulting him in front of the father’s eyes.
I challenge you to find me any father who would see red and beat the babysitter senseless. Even the police chief applauds this father’s vigilantism. Check out more about this horrific story below!
“I just walked in and found a grown man molesting my [son] and I’ve got him in a bloody puddle for you right now, officer,” the father beat the teenager said when he called 911.
To protect his son, dad took justice into his own hands. When he walked in on the teen babysitter molesting his son, he did the only thing a sane person would do – he lashed out and proceeded to beat the pulp out of the abuser.
The father had trusted the alleged abuser as his son’s babysitter. When the story broke, people all over the internet came out to show support for the father – even though what he did is against the law. They believe that the father was…
right to attack the man because he was in the act of defiling the young boy.
“Send an ambulance. He’s going to need one,” the father told the 911 dispatcher.
“Where any weapons involved?”
“My fist and my foot.”
In the video below, you’ll see the beaten and bruised Raymond Frolander standing in front of a Florida judge not saying a word. 18-year-old Frolander was beaten unconscious before the father called 911 so the police could arrest the criminal. Chief Michael Chitwood has sympathy for the father. “Father to father, he did what a father had to do.”
When asked if he had a problem with the vigilantism, Chief Chitwood told CNN, “Not as a police chief and not as a father.”
Later after the babysitter was arrested, the victim told authorities that Frolander had been assaulting him since he was 8-years old. Police said that Frolander admitted he had sexual relations with the 11-year-old. At the end of his interview with police, the criminal said, “I’m guilty.”
No charges have been filed against Jason Browning, the father, as a result of the attack on the child molester. Frolander has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
“He’s going to learn in the next 25 years why I let him live,” Browning told WESH after the verdict.
After he is released from prison, Frolander will be forced to wear a GPS monitor and register for the sex offender list for the rest of his days. Do you think this criminal got his rightful punishment? Or does he deserve more than 25 years behind bars?
