As many of us know, when soldiers are on mission, they’re away from home more often than not. Not only are they far away, but they can last a long time before they can return.

Many of them had to leave their wives, children and parents behind in order to serve our country; which takes a toll on both the family and them.

Their families however, have to suffer not only the absence of either a husband or dad or son, but also deal with the tormenting thoughts of their whereabouts and wellbeing.

Children tend to suffer the most, for many of them are usually too small or young to understand why their daddy or mommy went away. 

This is precisely the reason why… 

they get so emotional when they see their father or mother return from duty.

We brought a video with a collection of the most emotive and surprising returns of soldiers and also their families’ reactions when they reunite.

Needless to say, some tears will be shed !
