On 28 September, a guy named Jacob Stanfield uploaded a video to YouTube showing a man having a bug pulled out of his ear.
Soon after the clip became public, it started going viral; racking up an astonishing 36.5 Million views!
According to Stanfield, the man in the video is Michael Gorman; who was at a birthday party in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, when the incident occurred.
Stanfield's friend Kaleigh was the one celebrating her 25th birthday in a mutual friend's barn, he said.
Stanfield said they had been drinking for about 20 minutes when Gorman started complaining about something stuck in his ear.
Creepy, crawly footage shows…
the man cursing and telling his pals he can hear the bug "running" inside his head.
"Katie, one of the partygoers, hopped on Google and started giving instructions. The first was to lay down on his side, which is when I grabbed my phone and started recording."
"She then requested, per Google, some sort of oil and a syringe. At that point, someone had already grabbed tweezers and we started to do work.” said Stanfield.
One of the women at the party grabbed tweezers and introduced them in the guys ear trying to grab the moth. Several times, she tries to grab hold of the critter without success, failing to gain a good enough grip to properly remove it.
After 2 minutes of useless attempts, she finally withdraws the insect — which was now unable to fly away due to all the trauma to its wings; caused by the tweezers.
The man was finally freed from this nightmare and safely returned to the party.
