A tourist seeking an iconic photograph with the King's Guard at Buckingham Palace collapsed after being attacked by a horse.

The incident occurred recently outside Buckingham Palace, where crowds of tourists assembled to capture photos with the mounted guards.

The King's Life Guard, a prominent feature of London tourism, is performed by soldiers from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment stationed at Horse Guards.

A sign near the guard positions warns tourists of potential risks associated with the horses, stating they "may kick or bite" and advising against touching the reins.

Despite the warning, many tourists take the risk for a better photo, often disregarding the sign's caution.

This disregard was evident when a woman attempted to take her photo alongside the horse as another tourist moved away.

The horse, seemingly startled by the sudden movement, reacted by biting the woman's arm and dragging her towards its body.

The woman managed to free herself and retreat to the crowd, appearing initially shaken but otherwise unharmed.

However, the situation escalated when she later collapsed, prompting bystanders to seek assistance from nearby armed officers.

The video of the incident, shared by YouTuber Buska in the Park (@busk1976) on July 21, has garnered over 40,000 views and numerous comments emphasizing the importance of heeding warning signs.

Viewers have stressed the need for greater attention to safety instructions, with comments such as, "Stop running up to the horse for goodness sake!

Read the signs!" and "The signs are there for a reason, please read them."

In response to inquiries, the YouTuber confirmed that the woman ultimately "walked away fine" after the incident.
