The Mountain's 'Tiny' Wife Has Answered The One Thing People Keep Asking

The Mountain, known off-screen as Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and famously recognized as Thor from Game of Thrones, and his wife, Kelsey Henson, recently addressed a frequently asked question during a Q&A session.

Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Thor’s imposing presence contrasts sharply with Henson’s 5 feet 2 inches stature.

The couple, who have been together since 2017 and married in October 2018, have shared moments from their relationship publicly.

A notable example is a heartwarming wedding photo where Thor is seen effortlessly holding Henson. Reflecting on their union, Thor expressed his happiness on social media:

"It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife! I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I'm so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side."

Given the notable height difference, fans have often wondered about their daily interactions. In response to a query about how they manage kisses, Henson humorously explained: “Ah, he bends, I tiptoe. Or just say screw it, pick me up!”

However, their journey has not been without its challenges. In November 2023, the couple experienced the profound sorrow of losing their daughter, Grace, who was stillborn at 21½ weeks.

Thor shared the tragic news on Instagram: “After a noticeable decrease in movement, we found out her heart had stopped beating.” He continued, “Words cannot describe our pain of this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter.

She is absolutely beautiful, with blonde lashes and brows and a little smile for mom and dad. The love we feel for her is overwhelming. The grief we feel will be with us forever, but so will the love.”

Grace was the couple’s second child; they also have a three-year-old son, Stormur, and Thor has an older daughter, Theresa Líf, from a previous relationship.

In a different arena, in 2022, Thor faced off against Eddie Hall, the former world’s strongest man, in a boxing match.

Despite both fighters predicting a stoppage, the bout, which spanned six rounds, ended with Björnsson winning by unanimous decision with a 57-54 score on points.
