Recently, during his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 59-year-old actor shared an unfortunate incident that occurred while filming his latest project, Good Fortune.

Reeves, recognized for his roles in action films like The Matrix and John Wick, recounted a mishap that led to a broken kneecap.

He humorously described the incident, revealing that it happened not during a high-stakes stunt but while walking into a dressing room after a cold plunge scene with co-stars Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen.

When Colbert inquired about the incident, Reeves replied in a tough-guy tone, "No one got to me; accident got to me."

He further explained that while doing the “cold shuffle,” his foot became caught in a carpet pocket, leading to a knee injury.

Reeves demonstrated how his knee buckled and humorously compared the sound of his patella cracking to a potato chip.

Colbert and Reeves exchanged jokes about the nature of the film, with Reeves clarifying that despite the mishap, the project is a comedy, not an action film.
